Conserva la bella sala Anni Venti affrescata con vedute partenopee, dove il genio matematico Renato Caccioppoli, nipote di Bakunin, riuniva a tavola i più bei cervelli dell'Istituto matematico napoletano, come Cafiero, Greco e Stampacchia. I suoi sapori hanno conquistato l'imperatore del Giappone Akio Hito, Kennedy, Anthony Quinn. è sede dell''Associazione storico culturale enogastronomica Umberto” per la cultura e la cucina napoletana.

A monument to pizza and Neapolitan recipes, it is now run by the third generation since it was set up by Don Umberto. Its lovely Twenties room frescoed with Neapolitan views, where mathematician Renato Caccioppoli, Bakunin's grandson, used to gather together the finest minds in the mathematics institute of Naples, such as Cafiero, Greco and Stampacchia. Japanese emperor Akio Hito, Kennedy and Anthony Quinn all enjoyed its delights. It is the headquarters of the Umberto cultural and historic gourmet association for Neapolitan culture and cuisine.
