Monumento sorrentino della gloriosa stagione turistica d'inizio Novecento. Con le sue grandi sale a piani sfalsati e i soffitti del bel tempo che fu è un piacere della vita da non perdere. Nell'aria, insieme ai ricordi dei frequentatori immortali di Sorrento, i profumi e i sapori inventati dai celebri "monsù", grandi cuochi della nobiltà meridionale che lasciarono le altolocate famiglie per creare i primi ristoranti d'Italia.
 
The citizens of Sorrento look on O' Parrucchiano as a national monument. At the turn of the century, many of the great chefs who worked in the kitchens of the wealthy aristocrats of southern Italy decided to start their own restaurants, of which this was probably the first and one of the most successful.
