One of the symbols of the "dolce vita" is La Stella situated in the exclusive and worldwide famous tiny port of Portofino on the coast of Liguria. Here the fascinating Princess Soraya was often seen sitting at the table next to the Dukes of Windsor, the King of Spain, the most prominent actors and the jet-set crowd who arrived with their yachts. It is still very popular and frequented, more discreetly, by gourmets who favor the traditional seafood dishes.
