Tipica ed elegante birreria, venne fondata dal mastro birraio austriaco Otto Wipflinger che, per primo, iniziò a produrre, importare e distribuire la birra austriaca e tedesca, fino ad allora sconosciute in Italia, sposandole ai piatti tirolesi. Incastonata nel quattrocentesco palazzetto Navarrini Wipflinger e tutt'ora guidata dai nipoti del fondatore, nelle sue sale finemente decorate ha messo tavola tutta l'intelligenza e la cultura d'Italia dalla proclamazione del Regno a oggi.

A characteristic and elegant beer-house, it was founded by the Austrian master brewer Otto Wipflinger, who was the first to produce, import and distribute Austrian and German beers, thitherto unknown in Italy, and served them with Tyrolean dishes. Set in the glorious 15th-century Palazzetto Navarrini Wipflinger and still run by the founder's grandchildren, its elegantly decorated halls have witnessed the passage of some of the best in Italian culture and intellect since the Kingdom of Italy was proclaimed.
