Ristorante Beccherie <span style="color:#008633; font-style:italic">locale storico dal 1875
I"bechèri", macellai con le botteghe in piazza, si riunivano in questa locanda per farsi preparare la zuppa di trippe. E fu Beccherie. Punto d'incontro per le riunioni segrete dei patrioti che, da Venezia, andavano in Lombardia e Piemonte il locale è un tempio della cucina trevigiana. E il poeta Giovanni Comisso, il soprano Toti Dal Monte e Ugo Tognazzi lo sapevano.
In the old days, this restaurant was frequented by butchers whose favourite dish was tripe. Later, it was discovered by Italian patriots who stopped off on their way from Venice to Lombardy and Piedmont. It soon became very fashionable and was referred to as the Temple of the Cuisine of Treviso. Regular clients included the poet Giovanni Comisso and the great soprano Toti Dal Monte.
