è stato il primo albergo sulla splendida via Partenope, subito meta di potenti e ricchi, re Farouk d'Egitto, Paolo di Grecia, Einaudi. Dimora napoletana del grande tenore Enrico Caruso. Il bar "Vesuvietta" era ritrovo dei letterati partenopei. Un pranzo al roof garden intitolato a don Enrico è d'obbligo.

The Vesuvio was the first hotel built on the Via Partenope overlooking the harbour and the Bay of Naples. The atmosphere of an old world hotel with all the modern comforts. The bar "Vesuvietta" is where the Neapolitan intelligentsia meets. The roof-garden, with its spectacular view, is a must for dinner. King Farouk loved this hotel as Paul of Greece did.
