Atmosfera, profumi, sapori e stupendi arredi in stile neoclassico di una drogheria di fine Ottocento, che ancora oggi produce caffè con la torrefazione a carbone. Nato come "Bottega di Barbanera", ha sede nel medievale Palazzo delle Canoniche, dove una targa ricorda che qui San Francesco si votò alla povertà. E la leggenda vuole che proprio in questi locali, nel 1472, Gutenberg, Mei e Orfini stamparono la prima Divina Commedia.
 
The atmosphere, aromas, flavours and splendid neoclassical furnishings of a late 19th century grocery, and one that still makes coal-fired roast coffee. Born as "Bottega di Barbanera", it is housed in the medieval Palazzo delle Canoniche, where a plaque recalls that it was here that St Francis took his vows of poverty. Legend has it that it was in the premises of the Café that Gutenberg, Mei and Orfini printed the first Divine Comedy in 1472.
