Ha fatto la storia di Oneglia, con i suoi arredi centenari e la stessa famiglia sempre al comando. Era il Caffè dei "signori", dove si entrava solo se laureati. Qui comparvero la radio e il primo telefono pubblico. Mussolini, per un complimento ardito, prese uno schiaffo dalla proprietaria nel 1908; Coppi, con dieci minuti di vantaggio, abbandonò la Milano-Sanremo, entrò per un caffè, riprese la bicicletta e vinse; Calvino, il presidente Pertini e il compositore Berio erano di casa.
 
The café that made the history of Oneglia, with its century-old furnishings and the same family always at the helm. This was the café of gentlemen, where only graduates were admitted. The radio and the first public telephone appeared here. In 1908, Mussolini was slapped in the face by the landlady after he made an impudent compliment. With a ten-minute advantage, Coppi left the Milan-Sanremo, popped in for a cup of coffee and went on to win the race. Calvino, President Pertini and composer Berio were all at home here.
