Qui furono inventati i tramezzini. Qui, dietro spesse tende rosse, prendeva il caffè Casa Savoia e si svolse un'importante parentesi della storia italiana. E sempre qui si tramandano preziosi cimeli e arredi, divenuti sacri per i torinesi e non. Amato da Gozzano e Macario, il Mulassano è oggi una deliziosa bomboniera con tesori fuori e dentro, alla portata di tutti.
 
This is where the sandwiches known as "tramezzini" were invented. In this cafè, behind heavy red curtains, royal members of the House of Savoy would sip their coffee in complete privacy. The "Torinesi"are very attached to the cafè Mulassano because of its mementos and the extremely traditional décor. This authentic jewel is like a bombonnière, and certainly worth a visit.
