Risale al Cinquecento: è il più antico ristorante veneziano dove, in origine, facevano capo i corrieri della Serenissima Posta. Dalla nascita, conserva intatti gli antichi caminetti, tuttora funzionanti. è qui che gli avi dei commercianti orientali introdussero l'uso delle spezie nella cucina europea. Le Poste Vecie sono situate proprio al centro del famoso mercato del pesce di Rialto. E la cucina marinara è eccellente.
 
This is the oldest restaurant in Venice. Founded in the year 1500 as a "trattoria" for the mail dispatchers, the fireplaces are still original. It was the first place to cook with the spices which the oriental merchants introduced to Venice. The Poste Vecie is located right in the center of the famous fish market of Rialto. For this reason, all the fish dishes are excellent.
